Dr. Brooks graduated from Priceville High School. She earned her bachelor degree in Animal Sciences from Auburn College of Agriculture in 2015, and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2019 from Auburn College of Veterinary Medicine.
Following graduation, Dr. Brooks practiced for a year at a mixed animal practice in Snead, Alabama and for four years at an exclusively small animal practice in Madison. Her special interests in the veterinary field are feline medicine, internal medicine, geriatric care, and surgery. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association.
Dr. Brooks and her husband, Michael have one daughter. Their pet family includes a Persian cat named Priscilla Pig. In her free time, Dr. Brooks enjoys being with her family, boating, going to the beach, gardening, and enjoying food that other people cook, going to church, and watching reality TV. A fun fact about Dr. Brooks is that if she hadn’t become a veterinarian, she may have pursued a career as a hair and makeup artist for the stars.
